Ukyou Memories Part 4.2

Memory: New Year

Ukyou asks Ema if they can walk together during New Year to the main shrine.
They walk and finish their business when Ukyou sees Wataru, Masaomi and Tsubaki by the takoyaki stand. Wataru begs Masaomi to buy him takoyaki and Masaomi hesitantly does so with the condition that Wataru shouldn't leave any leftovers during dinner. >_< (ya know, kids tend to not eat dinner at all when they get their hands on snacks).

Tsubaki sees Wataru with the takoyaki and asks for one (actually, extorts Wataru). Wataru doesn't wanna give Tsubaki and in turn, Tsubaki offers to teach Wataru something. (It can't be anything good, right? HAHAHA)

Jakunikukyoushoku 弱肉強食 - Law of the Jungle. . . it is.

(Wataru struggles to pronounce it. haha)

Tsubaki tells Wataru that the according to the Law of the Jungle, the weak get eaten by the strong naturally. It dictates that whatever the strong do to the weak cannot be helped at all. (way to deceive your younger bro)

Wataru protests that he's no weakling though.
Tsubaki taunts him further though and says he thinks otherwise as Tsubaki easily got the takoyaki.
As Wataru was about to cry, Azusa pops out of nowhere and tells Tsubaki that that wasn't mature of him. Tsubaki argues that it's just one piece of takoyaki. Azusa points out that it wasn't what he was talking about BUT the whole Jakunikukyoushoku business. HAHAHAHA Tsubaki defends himself by saying that he was only teaching Wataru the difficulties of reality. HAHA (as if...)

Natsume then pops out to invite the rest of his bros to eat when Tsubaki starts going hungrier after eating (the extortion-procured) takoyaki. They finally decide to look around the food stalls in the area.

The scene goes back to Ukyou who seemed annoyed/stressed about his brothers. Ema worries about dinner back at home but Ukyou says he would eat home since it was the dinner Ema and Ukyou cooked together. Ukyou then kids around and tells Ema to go home and eat dinner together (all to themselves).

The rest of the gang get to Ukyou and Ema. Tsubaki asks (jealously) why Ema has been with Ukyou, Masaomi gently just points out "Ah~ so you were together", Wataru tells Tsubaki on Ema about the takoyaki incident, and Tsubaki, once again, pointing out how Ema and Ukyou were together with such a good atmosphere. Ukyou just dismisses his jealousy telling him that they were just walking around together. Tsubaki wanted to walk around with Ema the whole time but Ukyou tells him how unfortunate it is that it wasn't the case.

Wataru then goes for the kill.

Wataru: Ah! So this is what you call Jakuniku kyoushoku, eh? Am I right, Akkun?
Azusa: ...EH?
Ukyou: Hou~ Wataru sees me as the stronger one/alpha than Tsubaki.

Tsubaki gets hit bull's eye and gets revenge over Wataru by aiming for the takoyaki (ONCE AGAIN) but this time, he wants to eat them all! Masaomi offers to buy another one for Wataru. Natsume comments on how Tsubaki has always been this childish. Ukyou then reminds everyone that he cooked dinner together with Ema to which everyone drops their plans to eat anything from the food stalls. Hurray for Roast Beef.

Everyone decides to head home while Ukyou tells Tsubaki to just eat the takoyaki or whatever.

Azusa just taunts Tsubaki... "Since you're the strong one, eat everything (the takoyaki) ok?"

Ema just laughs at Tsubaki who claims that he would eat the roast beef she cooked.

Memory 9: Past Ukyou

Whoah . . . this is pretty much the climax/turning point.

Ukyou is drifting away in his thoughts while standing around the intersection.
Man, his thoughts are about matters at home. Wataru's laundry, dinner preparations, etc.
HAHAHA

His thought bubble bursts when Amamiya Reiko appears out of nowhere like a pokemon he wishes to repel. >:D

Reiko basically talks to him like her usual gold-digger tone, asking him to spill beans and tidbits of his life recently. She then asks Ukyou if he's got a girlfriend but Ukyou dismisses her musings and pestering until Amamiya became a  bit detailed like "how about a younger lady who picks your necktie?". (She must have witnessed them during Christmas shopping? I dunno.)

Ukyou does his ninja moves and walks away while she tells him how he's cold.

Ukyou: it's been a despicable memory. . .These aren't lingering feelings. It's just that it's a despicable memory that's smeared on me like mud. In a casual momentum (suddenly?), I remember my disgust for my past self. That's right. There's no mistaking it. It pisses me off, myself. My past self who got snubbed by one woman...

Then a flashback occurs. . .

Ukyou asks Reiko if the rumors that she was with another man and Reiko just talks to him like he's a kid telling on her. (with that tone that pisses me off I want to stuff her in a chest and bury her because she's such a treasure HAHA >:D)

She tells Ukyou casually that since she's tired of it anyway, she'll tell him the truth. She says that all the rumors were true and that she only wanted to get close to Ukyou and use him because he is (I forgot Ukyou's mom's name! HAHAHA. Update: Ah, it's Miwa) the son of Miwa Asahina.

Then, she tells him that the guy she was with was a lawyer and that she learned many things about his work (like the power-digger she is). Then she tells him that since he's going to be busier anyway, it was such a blessing that they will be breaking up (Ukyou and Reiko breaks up HURRAY!!!)

Ukyou goes home pretty disturbed and tired. Ema notices and decides to bring him food (YOU BETTER CHOOSE the one about worrying about him and not the one that simply hopes for him to be better miraculously by tomorrow. >_< )

Ema goes in to see Ukyou like this

Ema innocently (probably in an attempt to lift Ukyou's spirits) tells Ukyou about how Fuuto was demanding her to cook something (hidoi~ Fuuto). Fuuto was then being picky (being the conceited idol who wants low cal food) about his food. But since Fuuto works so hard anyway, Ema lets him get what he wants. Ukyou seems pretty taken aback listening to Ema letting Fuuto get things his way.

Ema also mentions how Tsubaki and Kaname also came in late from work and how she cooked for them too and that is why Ukyou shouldn't worry about her bringing him food late in the night.

Ukyou gets pissed off, thinking Ema is just like Reiko. 0_0 "A woman who wants to look cute before many guys yada yada". Ukyou holds Ema forcefully. :| And he vents his anger to Ema, telling her that she's just like Reiko.

Ema slaps some sense into him (OF COURSE! You go girl!). She EMPHASIZES that she's ASAHINA EMA. She reminds Ukyou that he's a kind, gentle person. Before she knew it, she was crying. Ukyou releases Ema and spills the beans to her.

He tells Ema that he met Reiko today, the woman he used to go out with back in his college days and how he got dumped. "It's a laughable story isn't it?"

Ema tells Ukyou that she will never do that to Ukyou because... yup, she got interrupted by Ukyou who's just happy to hear the words she said though he says that he doesn't deserve the words Ema just said. Ukyou also says that he has calmed down after that. Ema also tells him not to ever compare her to Reiko. He confesses that Ema and Reiko look alike. The first time he saw her, he was taken aback. 0_0 But the more he knew Ema, the more he got convinced that she's a different species. (WHY OF COURSE, MAAAN) It's also funny how Ema just noticed that they do look alike after remembering the photo she found in one of Ukyou's books. No wonder she felt as if there was something weird about the photo.

Ema goes about praising Ukyou, saying that he's going to be a good lawyer at this rate then...

Then Ema struggles to find something to talk about because of the awkward silence after he hugs her.

She suddenly asks Ukyou if there were times he would be a bit rough (because he's usually so much opposite that HAHA... polite and all). Ukyou says YES. HAHAHA And he even adds that the same blood (with Tsubaki and Yusuke) flows through his veins. It runs in the family (I wonder if Subaru talks rough sometimes too. WAIT. Louis would surprise me more. Never mind the blood matters.).

Ukyou: "When I see someone cute, it makes me want to bully them. >:D" (pertaining to EMA) He just says that he's so much comfy around Ema to the point that he's fine just letting loose and being himself.

Ukyou: " I've shown you many sides of my self and yet you told me you'll stay by my side...that's what you told me, right?"

Ema: (I'm happy I get to see Ukyou like this but can I really keep up with this change?) >_<

Hurray to my Noob Banner Hurraaay

Dem. I suck at my banner. I drew it, yes, but I was to lazy to draw another one that fits... Hmm...
Maybe, I'll draw a decent one soon.

Brothers Conflict Brilliant Blue: Iori's Route (Warning: HEAVY spoilers ahead)

Guah- Iori's route was tense. haha If I were to rank all conflicts in all routes, Iori's was probably the heaviest among all (and that ranking includes even the Passion Pink guys).

What can I say about Iori's route? If you're worried Iori's one dark character, calm down. He just has dark tendencies after a very heavy blow (I dunno if I should tell you but I think you know) from the past occurred. Ukyou had girlfriend problems in the past which involved a bitter breakup (one-sided bitterness, d'oh). In Iori's case, however, it's about getting over his girlfriend's death. Imagine how Iori was ever since that. His thoughts swing from suicide to yandere-ish tendencies which are luckily way, way far from Yuno's (Mirai Nikki).

Iori. . . has two endings I think. One's a bad one. The other's a good one. :3

A tip on his route: don't raise family love before White Day. I forgot which day/week I started raising family love (TV and family restaurant) but to be safe, make sure you get to see all the events in Iori's route before White Day (15 events with the 15th event being 合格発表 (Announcement of Successful Applicants) then the 16th event would be White Day).

After that, you could raise family love. Raise it as much as possible. The logic could probably be that when Ema begins to value the rest of her brothers, she would make Iori get back to his senses when he attempts to kill Kaname. She would defend Kaname because she values the family. When you don't raise family love, oh boy, Ema's going to tolerate Iori's "I-don't-need-anyone-but-you-and-I-don't-need-friends-and-a-family" thing. Iori's mentality before that turning point/defining moment in the last event of his route (well, besides the extra event, that is) was about concentrating on Ema and his family didn't matter to him anymore. It's just weird how he is portrayed in the CG during Christmas where he mingles with his younger brothers by the cake though.

I had problems initially when his 5th event during October 30 didn't occur. This was because I raised family love (the pink bar with a house icon on the left on top of the screen). Natsume's 1st event occurred at October 29 when I raised family love too high. Basically, you'll be fine until White Day when you only focus on raising Iori's affection. My schedule was almost always like this:

1. Watch Sadako 3D with Iori (I know right... Iori's a HORROR movie lover)
2. Study with Iori (twice a week)
3. Watch Musical/Classical with Iori
4. Date Iori during Sundays/stay over at Iori's room
5. Play video games alone

After White Day, my schedule became like this:
1. Watch TV with family (3x)
2. Eat at a Family Restaurant (2x)
3. Play video games alone
4. Date Iori/ Stay over at Iori's place (until I collect all CG's during the stay = 4 CG's)

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD:

I love the good ending. haha It's the first instance I saw Iori getting along well with Kaname. I'm glad the game allowed Iori to gain the peace of mind he deserves + the fact that Iori recovered from his dark thinking and negative thinking which led him to move on with a new love. >_<
You should be fine when you get this CG in the ending.

Ukyou Memories Part 3 (SPOILERS AHEAD YO!)

Memory 7: (大切なもの) Important Thing
Since, I find my summaries awkward to read, I might as well translate the conversations themselves. HAHAHA (I find my summaries a bit hard to write in third person p-o-v). Warning: Some statements may be incorrect. I'm no pro, ok? >_<

Ukyou: So you were able to talk to Rintarou san and cried in peace/relief. . .
Ema: That's because...
Ukyou: Unexpectedly, you are someone who couldn't suppress your feelings aren't you?
People like that. . . can't be left alone.
Ema: Ukyou san?
Ukyou: Hey, wipe your tears. . . Tonight, since Rintarou san's likely to eat here, unlike usual, I'll be preparing a meal for one more person and you have to help me and since your eyes will be hazy (from crying) and you might cut your fingers and I won't give allowances/pay attention to your cut. (not sure about this line but he definitely tells Ema about possibly cutting her fingers while her eyes are hazy from crying)
Ema: (I still think Ukyou's going to pay attention to my cut though...)
Ukyou: Ema-san? Laughing with that crying face is a bit scary...
Ema: Na-! That's mean, Ukyou-san!
Ukyou: Haha, it's a joke ok? The return of your smile makes me relieved.
Ema: I really thank you.
Ukyou: I don't need anything in return. Now, let's prepare dinner.Let's prepare our family's dinner together.
Ema: Yes! (I may stand still and fall but I'm fine since I'm not alone...Ukyou-san told me I belong to the family. I'm sure from now on until eternity... so from tomorrow I'll move on again)

Memory 8: (プレゼント) Present
Ukyou: Is it ok if I take a little time of yours?
Ema: Yes. What is it? A favor?
Ukyou: No.
Ema: ??
Ukyou: Is there something you want (asking for a thing she wants dearly)?
Ema: Hmmm... That's true. . . could you pass to me the tofu please?
Ukyou: Like I told you. . . you're mistaken.
Ema: Eh?
Ukyou: It's not that.
Ema: ?
Ukyou: It's almost Christmas right? And so, I uhh, is there something you want?
You always help prepare the meals. . . to thank you, I thought of giving you a present.
Ema: Ehhh?!!
Ukyou: You don't have to be that surprised. This is my feelings of gratitude. . .
Ema: That is. . . I am the one being taken care of! I also wanted to thank Ukyou-san and thought of giving a present as well!
Ukyou: We have been thinking of the same thing haven't we?
If it comes to this, my plans of giving you a present would have no meaning.
Ema: That's not true!
Ukyou: Is that so? Let us choose the presents together. (gaahhh, they sound like newlyweds)
Ema: Eh, is it ok?
Ukyou: My work allows me one free day before Christmas. . .
Ema: (a day before Christmas. . . Christmas eve?)
Ukyou: Is it in your convenience?
Ema: It's o-ok!
Ukyou: Thank you. Shall we meet at the shopping mall then?
Ema: Yes! (Choosing Christmas presents together in Christmas Eve with Ukyou-san...what should I d-do? I'm looking forward to it yet I'm too nervous now!)

Memory 9: (クリスマスプレゼント) Christmas Present
Ema: (E-to. . . Certainly, it's good that this is the meeting place. I wonder if Ukyou-san's not coming yet...Well, there's still 15 minutes to our meeting time. I might have come too early, huh. . . If I tell Ukyou-san I was really, really looking forward to this day, Ukyou-san will laugh at me. I wonder what I should give to Ukyou-san.)
Ukyou: I'm sorry! I made you wait.
Ema:  A... Ukyou-san! It's still before our meeting time. I came here too early though...
Ukyou: No... Actually, I came a little bit early but,
I thought you won't be coming so soon, so I looked around
in a bookstore.
Ema: (Eh... he was here earlier than I am?)
Ukyou: ...but, making you wait is no different than what actually happened
Ema: But. . . I just arrived just now. . .
Ukyou: ...please don't lie.
Ema: Eh?
Ukyou: Your hands have really become red. This is proof that
you have come here very much earlier.
Ema: A-...
Ukyou: I'm very sorry for making you wait. At least, let me
appologize. It would have been better if I warm them up a little but...
Ema: Eh-!? (If he holds my hands like that... my heart will pound a lot...!)
A-ano...!
Ukyou: Yes?
Ema: Ee-to, it's sudden, but..! Ukyou-san, what would you like?
Ukyou: ... Oh yeah...
Ema: (It's embarrassing so I changed the topic but he seems to have returned
to himself I wonder...?)
Ukyou: ... I can't think of any.
Ema: Eh!?
Ukyou: Since that time we made arrangements for this, I've been thinking
about it a lot but in the end, I couldn't think of anything.
Ema: Ukyou-san... don't tell me you've been thinking of what to give me instead?
Ukyou: It's not like that but... actually, I really couldn't think of anything.
If it's something I need, I buy it as soon as possible.
Ema: U-n, that's true. . .
Ukyou: Well if it's something you pick for me, I'll be happy and that's for sure.
Ema: (Ukyou-san says so but. . . ?)
<I'll go for a necktie... I wonder>
Ema: . . . Well, I'll go for a necktie!
Ukyou: Is that so?
Ema: If it's Ukyou-san, it should be something he uses everyday right?
There are many stores with men's accessories. Shall we go and take a look?
Ukyou: Understood.

Ema: U~n. I wonder if Ukyou-san's better off with a calm feel than showy patterns...
Ukyou: Ano, Ema-san?
Ema: Yes, what is it?
Ukyou: I think you are holding on to many but. . . (HAHAHA, Ukyou being held by Ema like that and he's actually feeling a bit awkward just by looking at his face.)
Ema: Eh? You think so? That's because I couldn't choose one.
Ukyou: What I'm saying is that this...
Ema: But... this is my first Christmas present. I wanted to choose the one that suits Ukyou-san
the best...
Ukyou:... Is that so?
Ema: Since Ukyou-san's color is white and his hair is light, I think a light-colored necktie would
suit him and it's not a showy one which makes it good. . . And you're a lawyer so your image shouldn't
be superficial/frivolous.
Ukyou: That is true... it is just as you said.
Ema: Is that so?
Ukyou: Yes. For private individuals, chic things are their taste.

Ema: A, if that is true, how is this? A beige, bold striped... The color's light
but it gives off a calming feel.
Ukyou: Aa, it's good isn't it? I don't have one with this color yet.
Ema: That's great! Well then, I'll go with this.
Sales lady: Customer-sama, have you decided?
Ema: A, yes! I wanted this wrapped as a present. . .
Sales lady: Understood.
Ema: Thank you.
Sales lady: More than that, to have a girlfriend to pick/choose is something to be envious of.
Ema: Eh!?
Ukyou: Isn't that true?
Sales lady: Ufufu. I'll wrap this so please wait for a while.
Ema: U-Ukyou-san! Why are you agreeing?
Ukyou:I was only saying what I truly thought so.
Ema: (It's embarrassing but I feel my chest is becoming warm... I wonder what this is. Like this, we may be seen as a couple... I wonder)
Ukyou: Ema-san? The wrapping seems to be done but...?
Ema: A! Sorry! Here. My present...
Ukyou: Thank you. I'll immediately use this at work.
On the second thought, maybe I should use this only when we go out together?
Ema: Eh-!? A-, th-that is... If Ukyou-san decides so...( Su-suddenly, since he said a weird thing, doesn't that make me tremble?!...
But the necktie... I wonder if he likes it)
Ukyou: Now, it's your present we're talking about but...
Ema: ?
Ukyou: The truth is that I have picked it earlier.
Ema: Eh?!
Ukyou: Here.
Ema: Can I open it now?
Ukyou: Yes.
Ema: Ummm...Waa, this is... a wristwach. It's cute...
Thank you very much! I'm very happy!
Ukyou: I am relieved you like it.
Ema: Yes! I'll treasure and use it!
Ukyou: Yes.
Ema: (He picked it for me and that makes me happy...)
Ukyou: Let's head home by now. We still have preparations to attend to
tomorrow.
Ema: Yes. That is true. Looking forward to the party,eh?
Ukyou: Yes. This year you are here, ne.
Ema: (To get to spend time with Ukyou-san during Christmas Eve and what's more?
I get to pick gifts with him. It has been a really happy day...I should do my
best in tomorrow's party's preparations!)

Gaaah... my translating powers... ~(@-@)~ hahaha, I think it's 80-90% right. Some lines may sound awkward. hahaha English ain't my first language after all. >_< I know the meaning of the Japanese sentence as it is but just couldn't write it in another language which is weird because Japanese isn't even one of my main languages nor do I consider my self fluent in it. Understanding and identifying the kanji's made me take so much time. hahaha Whatta life. I'm a bit free this time around for my final exams week is over and I only have a few things to settle before an official vacation from the university. haha

Ukyou's such a gentleman. He's one adorable gentleman who I could compare to a loyal but nagging butler, a war adviser, the right hand of a boss guy... that sort of persona. haha Ukyou's route, I admit, is one interesting route. There's a cliche conflict of "getting over a past flame" but it was interesting though. >_<
It could have been for people who have the same dilemma... getting over a heart-breaker and all that.

Brilliant Blue Tips hahaha

1. When you aim for a particular guy's route, you have to choose the right options in their events (where hearts appear after choosing the option). When hearts appear and there's this chime sound, you chose the right thing. haha

2. Never choose the right options/choices (no hearts should appear when you choose the option) when an event from another guy you're not aiming for appears/occurs.

3. Natsume's route requires you to only watch tv before October 29 so no other brother's affection goes up while family love goes up. I'm not particularly sure if it's true that you have to raise family affection to exactly 80% (the pink bar on top with a house icon on the left) but I think the limit's 80% just before the bar goes darker pink. The October 29 event does not occur when you don't raise the family's affection. October 29 is Natsume's first event where Tsubaki and Azusa talk about someone Ema doesn't know and if Ema chooses the option to be curious about who they're talking about, (the right choice for Natsume's first event), they'll tell Ema she's bound to find out during the wedding.

TV-watching accompanied with playing games by yourself (and part-time job to buy Natsume's favorite food coupon and massage pack) of course. . .  hahaha
If you watch TV only, eventually, Natsume would be the guy to see you at "The Truth" event. hahaha

4. Azusa has this particular event where he tells Ema he wants to spend more time in the park after their date. This occurs at October 24 to November 3 when you go for a date in the moviehouse (映画館).

5. You have to date Natsume at March 20. An event occurs there and you might miss it if you do something else. >_< Anywhere's fine.

More to come soooon~ Gaaah, I don't have much time again. -_- I'd really love to tell you guys so many things.

Ukyou Asahina: Brothers Conflict Brilliant Blue Memories Part 2 (SPOILERS YO!)

Memory 4: Home Tutor (家庭教師)
When you constantly raise Ukyou's affection, this occurs. I dunno at what level. I think it wouldn't be hard to trigger this as their affections really shoot up so easily. haha

Kaname finds Ema sighing over something. He thinks Ema's sighing was caused by the paper she was holding: the results of a test.
Kaname: Show it to oniisan~!
Ema: N-no! It's embarrassing!
Kaname: Show your worrying oniisan his cute little sister's test paper~
Q-U-I-C-K
Ema: . . . (thus the paper was shown to Kaname)
Kaname: Comparing it to your first year, your grade did go down.
Ema: Sorry...
Kaname: Don't take it the wrong way. It's not that I want to give you a sermon.
It's just that maybe it was our fault your grades went down.
Ema: Eh? Why?
Kaname: Your study time has decreased due to being involved with us (spending time with us/taking care of us) and it's something we should apologize for.
Ema: (Kaname san's voice is serious... maybe he's worried about me?)
Ah, no, it's not like that! It's true that many things did happen but comparing it to the time I was alone, it is more fun now!
Kaname: Really?
Ema: Really!
Kaname: If that's the case, it's a relief but we have to do something about your performance ok?
Ema: It's fine!
Kaname: Is that so? A, I have a good idea. I know a good home tutor.
Ema: Home tutor? Maybe, you're talking about yourself?
Kaname: Yes. I'll teach you many things.
Ema: I'll pass.
Kaname: I'm kidding. Leave it to me. There is a good tutor.
Thus Ukyou was the tutor being mentioned...

It is revealed that Ema's problem was about Ancient Writing/Japanese Classics/Classical literature (Kobun).
During the tutoring session, a call comes. . . Ukyou has to go away for a while and tells Ema how the call could be long while Ema answers stuff on her own. Ema answers the questions on her own until a difficult one comes up and she either chooses to look it up in one of Ukyou's books or never touch any of the books.

You have to choose to look it up in the books, of course. >_<
Among the pages of the book Ema was reading, a picture comes up. 0_____0 Uwah! It's a woman's picture. (Amamiya Reiko's picture of course. HAHAHA bad memories yet Ukyou kept one or forgot to throw such picture?!)

And that's when Ukyou gets angry... and coldy tells Ema "What about your studying? Did you find anything in the book? I don't remember teaching you to touch anything from anyone's room". He then tells her to get out of his room. (Geh! Coooold~ 0____0 ) If it wasn't the book where Amamiya's picture was, it would have been different I suppose. -____-

Ema tells herself how she can't really face Ukyou at this rate. . . and she wonders how she could. The next morning, Ukyou acts as if nothing has happened. Weird. . . -_- I dunno if he's just acting professionally or what. 0_0

Memory 5: Cultural Festival Day (文化祭当日)
Of course, you have to tell Mahoko days before (during that event where Mahoko and Sasakura talk about the cultural festival with you) when she asks you if there's someone you like. . . that there is someone you like. ("気になっている人ならいる" or something like that instead of the other option "いない")

You also have to constantly raise Ukyou's affections in particular so no other Brilliant Blue guy would appear in the festival.

A mail from Kaname comes...
Kaname will come to school for the cultural festival then suddenly pops in front of Ema.
Ema was doing a bunny cosplay... and Kaname remarks she's cute. >_<
Ema says it's for their class's cafe. Kaname then says how she may have been the one who suits the costume the best. Subaru was with Kaname as well. hahaha Aaaand Ukyou.
Ukyou: Otsukaresama desu! (Cheers for good work.) Your class's cafe is quite lively eh?
Kaname: You should wear that until you go home and you should come to my room. I will transform into a wolf.
Ukyou then hits Kaname (HAHAHAHA!!!)

Mahoko comes and asks who those IKEMEN guys are. . . Ema then introduces them starting from Ukyou.
Kaname gets surprised about Mahochan calling Ema "Hina". Mahoko explains that it's a shortcut for Hinata and coincidentally Asahina since Ema moved to Sunrise Residence. hahaha

Mahoko asks Ema who she wants to be with in the festival. Ema says it's Ukyou. >_______< Mahoko helps Ema get to spend the day with Ukyou by diverting Subaru and Kaname to Yusuke's business as a waiter. Ukyou stays and says though he wants to take a hold of Kaname (and make sure Kaname doesn't bother Yusuke), he wants to see the rest of the cultural festival activities.

Ukyou minds the food provided in the cultural festival... (sasuga! the Asahina household cook Ukyou sama! HAHA) The crepe, soup, takoyaki. . . all the food seem to be Ukyou's concern. Ema giggles and remarks how Ukyou is the same way he is at home. . . Ukyou gets embarrassed (blushes... damn, he's adorable).
Ukyou remarks about Ema's dessert-making a while ago during her shift in the class's cafe and says how it needs improvement. Ema then asks Ukyou to teach her some time. haha Ukyou says that besides this talk, maybe they should go around more. Thus the day went on and Ema and Ukyou were together in spending their day in school. haha

Memory 6: The Truth (真実)
This naturally occurs when Ukyou's affections are the highest. >_<

Ukyou finds Ema in the playground/park. He asks her to go home but she doesn't want to. Ukyou says he heard the situation from Rintarou. He tells Ema not to trouble anyone. Masaomi and the rest of the younger brothers are going insane looking for her. Ukyou wonders what's wrong with Ema. Ema initially didn't want to tell Ukyou. Ukyou then tells her that until she explains her reason in not wanting to go home, he'll stay there. (music fades in: I can waaaiiit forevveeerrrrr... if you'll sayyyy you''llll be theeerrreee toooo~ I can waiiiit foreverrr if you willll... OK, I'M KIDDING).
Ema: There's no way you could understand my feelings! I... I. . . (I am scared.)
Ukyou: It is true that I won't understand. I won't be able to imagine it. . . but you are scared to convey it in words aren't you? (Okkaaay, this part, I didn't catch so well but Ukyou's telling Ema something about revealing the truth and probably pain and fear). Like I said earlier, I know the feeling of not being able to convey something into words because of fear. People's worries have weights. (Ukyou has experience with people telling him worries... he's a lawyer after all. haha) Wouldn't it be nice if that weight would be revealed to someone (letting the thing off)? Ukyou offers himself to lessen the burden. . . gaaahhh, Ukyouuu...

Ema finally tells Ukyou. . . how she feels alone and always have felt alone. She tells him how there's no meaning in her staying with them as a family because it's not her place.

Ukyou tells her how they're a family and how Rintarou is her family. Masaomi and the rest were looking for her and doesn't this mean they're family? (Ukyou said so) Ukyou tells her he's there for her, always there for her even at this time of pain. "You are not alone" HAHAHA This heavy scene... ohhh, my heart.

"Let's go home. Let's confirm how you're not alone" - Ukyou

Gahhh... I still have 12 memories (summaries) to go. hahaha I just love Ukyou X Ema route. >_< I don't want him for myself. I want him for Ema. HAHA Ukyou's your smart, good-looking, formally speaking, polite, professional, dignified, calm and composed, playful butler-like bishounen. . .

He's unbelievably tall. 0_0 hahaha Okaaay, many more interesting memories soon. >:) The last three memories are pretty cute. gehe I'll work on the next three probably tomorrow. >_<

Asahina Ukyou: Memories List (Spoilers ahead)

I've done Rui's route too. . . now, I'm looking forward to Natsume's route but for the mean time, I'll be posting summaries of the memories I think. Well, spoilers aheeead~
Warning: I don't have any formal Japanese language study so these may be very crude stuff. (crude oil HAHA) Luckily, most lines don't involve complex Japanese kanji and there's voice acting to back my understanding up. I'd say this could be close to 90% correct. (0_0) I hope so. haha

1st memory: Making Breakfast (朝食作り)
This event pretty much occurs automatically I think. (Well, provided we see the event where Ukyou tells Ema he's going to teach her how to make miso shiru)
Ema wakes up earlier than Ukyou and says to herself that she's going to prepare breakfast ahead of Ukyou only to find Ukyou in the kitchen seconds later. Ukyou then mentions their deal about Ukyou teaching Ema how to cook dashi/soup since he has some time. Ema has the option to let the teaching commence or not
お願いします versus また今度でいいです. (Choose the first option of course >_< ---> お願いします)

Ema then feels happy about Ukyou remembering his promise.

Ukyou tells Ema that saying that the miso soup's deliciousness depends on the soup isn't an exaggeration.
Ukyou says that miso soup's natural flavor is the best and that adding extra flavoring is unnecessary.
He tells Ema that it would be easy.
They proceed to cook and Ukyou explains the procedure like the seaweed should be cut so the flavor goes out easily and adding kichin pepper after the fire's gone. Then that's how it's all done. Easy, right? haha
Ema says she's going to try making it soon.

Ema then tells Ukyou how the practice ingredients would be such a waste (they didn't really cook miso soup and Ukyou only demonstrates how he deals with the ingredients so yeah, the miso ingredients are left uncooked with the konbu/seaweed cut). Ukyou then says how good Ema's point is and comments how Ema would make a good wife (HAHAHAHA, Ema's embarrassed ) Ukyou then says he's going to teach Ema how to arrange (presentation of the miso soup) the miso soup next time. Ukyou says how cooking has been more fun since Ema came. :3

2nd Memory: Lawyer's Work (弁護士の仕事)
Ukyou forgets some stuff back at home and asks Ema to bring them over to where he works. Ema sees Ukyou during work. Ukyou is out talking with a client and assuring her about the client's concerns and worries and how she could call him if she's worried about something. He's so professional and good with customers relations (he speaks formally all the time but he's just too professional before his clients gaaahhh).

Ema thinks the "Work-mode Ukyou-san" is so cool. Ukyou explains details about his work. @_@ I got lost in his words. haha He was basically telling Ema that whether it's cool or not isn't much of an issue to being a lawyer.  He then asks Ema what she wants for return after Ema brings the stuff and tells her that they're family so she could allow herself to be spoiled sometimes. >___<

3rd Memory: The beach in the morning (朝の浜辺)
This event occurs when you choose to stay in the cottage during the vacation where you see Fuuto. Fuuto is kind of a brat and he asks for black coffee though he's actually in to sweets (child-like food which he gets embarrassed of as he wants to be seen as an adult gahahaha). Ukyou says Ema is a sweet sister when Ema initiates asking for what Fuuto likes so Fuuto doesn't get embarrassed.

During the family vacation, Ukyou still cooks their meals. One day, Ema offers help and Ukyou says he's going to be up early to buy ingredients and stuff. They go together to the market. Ukyou let's his hair down. hahahaha (I was surprised his hair was that much 0_0. Gel must have done the trick. )

He's adorable. hahaha Ema also gets embarrassed thinking about the offers they got during shopping because the vendors thought Ukyou and Ema were a couple. Ukyou then offers Ema to walk slowly by the seashore for a while as they go home for the other brothers are still sleeping anyway. (Gaha, I remember those cheesy scenes from movies where couples walk by the sea :3 )

Ukyou's so cute, I'm gonna die. Ok, I'm kidding. He's more like a prince. hahahaha
Ukyou is already used to waking up early to make breakfast so yeah he isn't weak at waking up early. Ukyou then really sounded like a mother when he says how he wants to feed his brothers more than how he actually loves to cook. (お母さんっぽい hahaha)
He says that since Masaomi has work and leaves the house early and that Kaname comes back during breakfast, it's only natural that this kind of work would be Ukyou's. hahaha He then remarks how it is a nice thing how he gets to spend time with Ema alone (just the two of them) when he cooks breakfast. (geeehehehehee)

Ah. now that I think of it Miwa and Ukyou really do look alike. Ukyou looks so western despite his Japanese blood. I dunno. Anime it is. hahaha Where blondes are considered Japanese. . . or so I think.

GAAAHHH, I'll post the rest of the memories later. hahaha I don't have much time again. University classes... -_- I'll be back later at 5 PM (Philippine time). >_< About 7-8 hours later. For now, 3 memories of Ukyou (SPOILERS actually) haha.
See ya later fellas.Ja neeee~

Brothers Conflict: Brilliant Blue Ukyou Route

Gaaaah... I've finished Ukyou's route. >_< All CG's + all events/memory + bonus event/memory are completed. I dunno. I think I'm just lucky. haha

SPOILERS:
Basically, some events may be triggered by constantly helping Ukyou with chores or so I think.
My schedule usually tends to please Ukyou more than the family. I've made the entire family watch Musical and Classic (Ukyou's favorites), I play games twice a week to reduce stress (oh my. when I forgot to reduce stress, it did go high but luckily I noticed before it became full haha) , I waited until Ukyou has 1 heart to date him then dated him every week after that, I do chores with Ukyou, and spent time in his room to get about 5 CG's (1 event with 2 CG's and they typical sleep CG with all datable characters with 3 CG's).

NOTE: In Ukyou's route, at the Christmas party, play a game with the brothers and do not reveal that you were adopted. (Choose the first option: Play game with bros haha)

Ukyou... it's the "mature sort of guy" route. haha Basically, you have to help him get over his past girl (Amamiya Reiko) and insist that though you look similar to Reiko, you are a different person. Amamiya Reiko's a very irritating character. Sigh... a lawyer, bad-mouthing, morale-destroying, status-chasing, opportunist sort of woman who cares more about status, age gap, career success, and belittling others/trampling others. . . She has caused so much damage to the naive Ukyou back when they were university students when one day she just confirmed the rumors about her dating a guy other than Ukyou then revealing how she's only interested in the fact that Ukyou is one of the sons of Asahina Miwa (status all the way! riches all the way! rank all the way! haha). She was so blunt and evil-ish during the flashback where Ukyou was being dumped. She has also caused morale degradation of Ema. haha Whatta woman. During one of the later events (3rd to the ED I think), while waiting for Ukyou (date~ hahaha), Reiko pops out and says that Ema's way too young, inexperienced, achieved nothing yet, blah blah. . . thus Ema's morale was down.

Ukyou then confronts Ema when she was avoiding Ukyou after that encounter with Reiko telling her he's gonna kiss her if she doesn't reveal the truth about her avoiding him. (gyaaaa) Ema tells Ukyou about meeting Reiko. Ukyou then tells Ema that she's the one he loves not minding all the degrading things Reiko said (status, age gap and all). In the end, he still kissed her though. HAHAHA Before this, Ukyou gets mad when Ema touches his books where Ema sees Reiko's picture. (It was actually really funny when Ema remarks," I knew I saw this girl/this girl was so familiar! She looks like me!" and Ema only says that after sooooo many days.)

Ukyou gets his redemption/revenge against Reiko after that. hahaha HAHA, the look on Reiko's face... was PRICELESS. She's been had after a conversation with Ukyou. She was surprised by the strong morale Ukyou has gotten. She was first offering herself again and badmouthing Ema about status and all and that she's incomparable to Ema but then Ukyou refused. HAHA (take that woman!) Ooooh the scene with Ema after that was too adorable.

Ukyou enters the kitchen to hear Ema say the brothers enjoyed her cooking. Ukyou gets jealous and tells her to cook only for him. Ema doesn't get it and says she will make a special menu for Ukyou. Ukyou says, she still doesn't understand the meaning of his words but someday she will. hahahaha (結婚だよ!結婚の話って言ってるんだよ)

Bonus scene... :3 Uhhh... it was a proposal scene after the graduation of Ema. >_< (too bad we don't see a wedding scene like Masaomi's in Passion Pink)

ALL CG's

THE LAST FEW MEMORIES on the List (gaaah, saying last memories with Ukyou kind of sounds sad haha)

I'll post the other things later. :3 I have to go somewhere and deal with reality. HAHAHAHA (dayum, I got depressed when I said that. haha HAHHAAH, resurrected suddenly)

I'll post the details about the CG's and the memories. Walkthrough probably? >_< I'll try Azusa's or Rui's route next. Wataru probably would be the last route I'd try. >_<

Hanasakeru Seishun: Rambles and So On

It's a shoujo thing but I think it's more of a "telenovela" pattern.
This series was more of a "what's going on with rich people's lives and their love lives" thing.

General:Everything was somehow convenient. The rich father sets up a husband hunting game where he set 4 dazzling and standing out men on the field. The daughter gets in the field and is conveniently getting close and pleasing to the 4 guys. Too convenient...just convenient. The guys are also captivated. (Don't get me wrong. I take a liking to the heroine though I would be lying if I'd say I like her 100%)

Execution: It has major problems. Most of the relaying of events is by mouth. Too much talk. I think it's a budget problem. The series moves on with less action and variation which may make it boring. Talk here and talk there. Walk for a while. Ride a car for a while. Talk and talk again. Well, that may be the nature of this sort of setting. Because mainly, the main characters are very rich, caged people (except Kajika, though), they don't really move or do much effort except talk a lot

Boring execution and boring storyline. Maybe it's because I never relate to rich people's lives or the storyline doesn't really surprise me? Convenient...too convenient. It's not gonna leave some legacy or anything fancy but the romance part of it is well, a-ok, I guess but not that satisfying as well.

It follows a boring pattern of getting in trouble and being saved. How the heck do they really plan to develop the characters?

I'm giving it more chances to entertain me though.

Art: It is a-ok at some scenes but it gets pretty disheveled at times. (haha) The backgrounds are gorgeous, honestly. Settings are a-ok. Characters are beyond average.

Cooking Dash 1 and 2

Whoah. Cooking Dash 1 and 2 were pretty easy (I didn't expect that). Well, it's probably because Cooking Dash is an experiment. Hook players with winning through the game so easily then make the game harder every new installment to the series... that's some pattern I learned for some games.

When Cooking Dash 3 came, the game became much, much difficult and challenging. That's the way I like it! :) Getting expert scores with the expert mode is hard though. T^T

Now, I'm loosing interest with it. I've been playing other stuff like harvest moon and tomodachi collection.

Virtual Families Suggestions

I've been playing Virtual Families and I could tell that the creators were trying to make some sort of a doll house game where a virtual family ages and dies and continues on and on and on. There's nothing much to do. Goals and secrets are pretty limited. Starting a family and working with careers are quite boring. You only leave them be most of the time (I understand it's like Virtual Villagers but Virtual Villagers was better suited to that style)

What I'd want to see in future releases and installments...
1. More stuff to do of course.
- Career building--->expound this aspect of a virtual creature
- Faster cleaning of the house
- BONDING WITH THE FAMILY (Come on. This is what families do)
Virtual families seem cold to each other in the family. All they do is tickle each other
and multiply. Nothing intimate and family-like.
- Vacations, scolding children for not doing homework, eating out, blackouts
where the family gathers to sing songs or tell scary stories
-strolls in the park
-INTERACTIONS WITH THE PETS (poor creatures get ignored by their owners sheesh)
-bachelor/bachelorette choosing. Why the heck would someone bite a marriage proposal
without knowing the proponent in the first place?! That way, it would be more AWWWW..some.
-expound on the "love" aspect of the game... why do they marry?
-restaurant management to earn money? (that would be tedious, yes but it could be fun
to have the family work on something like that)
-cut scenes instead of random mail that either take your money away or give you money
-conversations (mom nags, dad scolds, dad teaches stuff, mom asks children to help out
in the kitchen, mom and dad show their love, parents give their children advice)
-car rides to town
-beach outings
-school activities (this will make things awfully tedious for the makers and the price of the
game would probably rise awfully if this was expounded too much)
-making friends with outsiders (this way, it'll be more realistic as to how a family grows)

2. Variation in locations. I want to see a :
a.school
b.office
c.park
d.hospital/clinic
e.neighborhood

3. New stuff in the store.
a.a vacuum cleaner
b.sock collector(seriously, life isn't all about collecting socks and weeds isn't it?!)
c.lawn mower
d.car
e.pet food..hehe
f.more dresses

4. More characters to interact with. Sigh... virtual families are such lonely people who live in the woods with no neighbors, no community whatsoever... what an anti-social bunch. hahaha They can't even leave their own house

5. The game seriously needs a heart. That's what this game lacks. Families: this thing is something that should touch people and make them relate to a family. :)

Arakawa Under the Bridge

Bridge life with weirdos... that's Arakawa Under the Bridge

The conditions of bridge life:
1. You'll have to change your name.
2. Mayor chooses your name. A new name=start of a new you
Your name is basically anything convenient for a label which the Mayor can remember when he sees you.

3. You'll have to live with weirdos.
Weirdo list:
a. Blond girl who thinks she's a from Venus
b. A "star"
c. A guy who never walks unless the path's white
d. A girl who's overly clumsy and grows a veggie garden
e. A Mayor who thinks he's a kappa
f. A woman who's got a sharp tongue and enjoys attacking men's self-esteems
g. A "sister" who's basically a brother, an army guy who raises the next weirdo in the list
h. A cute girl who happens to be violent (like I said, the guy above raised her)
i. Two boys who think they have special powers and never take off their masks (helmets, I suppose)
j. The last samurai
k. A yakuza parrot guy who ran away with the next weirdo
l. yeah... the queen bee of a yakuza group the parrot guy ran away with
m. a guy who thinks he's too perfect

4. You'll have to live under a bridge and eat stuff from the bank.

5. You're free to live the way you want to live your life. All the stuff you hesitate to do, all the things you hold back in society, all the demands from society... you will live as a citizen on the bank.

At first, I thought this series was just some ordinary shoujou thing. Learning the fact that this show has a lot of weirdos has been successful in luring me in this series. It wasn't boring as it doesn't have too many still scenes where nothing moves and only the narrator (whoever's) talking.

Looking at the set of characters, I think I really could relate to them. The characters on the bank were probably people who ran away from the rest of the world to hide in a comfort zone but I think they're running towards who they really want to be. I assumed they were people who can't blend with the rest of the world and the bank was the only place where they would be a-ok. I think I was wrong as seeing them get along well makes me think that getting back to the rest of the world would mean leaving "their place on this world". They were running from reality and running towards the real "them" PROBABLY. hahaha It's somehow like that. Well, you get the idea. haha

All my theories weren't expounded throughout the anime series though as it focuses more on the main characters Recruit and Nino. I had to admit that there are certain characters that I don't really like, though. Their denseness is what I dislike. I also didn't like the nosy characters who think they're all-knowing people. Those guys just overact every time Recruit makes a mistake and make matters worse which I really knew Recruit could fix sooner if those nosy guys weren't there. Arrrggh. . . Annoying, really.

To be specific, I didn't like Hoshi and Piko. Well, Hoshi became a decent one when he comforted Amazoness but the way he misunderstands Recruit just irritates me. He just wouldn't back off even if Nino's already taken... Piko is too nosy, on the other hand. She made stuff worse back when Nino and Recruit had a misunderstanding over a cassette tape. Matters between a couple should be settled in a proper talk between the couple before any other entity lays a hand on the matter. Sheeesh. . . For Pete's sake, why would someone who didn't even know the right details land a finger on the situation?!

Well, enough of the rants. haha. Arakawa Under the Bridge is simply amazing though I'm not really into the romance side of this one. There were only a few great romantic scenes which I really appreciated though.

Kuragehime

Yeah. . . Jellyfish Princess. This series was pretty nice and it seems to follow a Korean style of unfolding events though it's definitely a Japanese anime. It basically reminds me about a lot of Korean series I watched.

Well, it's probably because of a few things I've seen in Korean "novelas":
1. a businessman/politician father for the hero/heroine who looks forward to having the
hero succeed his position
- in Kuragehime, the politician and businessman happens to be the hero's father

2. a heroine who takes a liking to someone else besides the hero at first (unless they make a twist and make the heroine end up with that "someone else")
- Tsukimi, the heroine, takes a liking to the hero's brother, Shu

3. the heroine gets hurt a lot because of circumstances with the guy she initially likes besides the hero and the hero comforts her and supports her
- Tsukimi felt bad when Shu didn't talk to her as he didn't recognize her in her normal looks
-Tsukimi really felt bad when she learns about Inari and Shu (Inari= the girl who blackmails Shu into agreeing to a site development proposal which includes tricking Shu to believe that they slept together)<--- which really gets into my nerves

4. a girl appears and fools the guy the heroine likes initially for non-romantic or non-love reasons like money reasons or career reasons but would soon take a liking to the guy she fools
- yeah... Inari

5. business stuff gets all mixed up when a scandal comes which is usually settled in forced marriages and dancing on the enemies' hands
- Inari... again

6. heroine blooms and goes out of her shell
- A LOT... hahaha (damn...I still couldn't recover from Inari's antics. I was really rooting for Shu and Tsukimi but why does Inari have to exist in the story?!?!)

Oh, I REALLY LOVED THE SUPPORTING CHARACTERS...Especially those from the Amamizu kan. Yeah, they're a bunch of weridos but that's the reason I LOVED THEM!!!

Bokutachi to Chuzai-san no 700 Nichi

Youthful days in 1979 in a town with more greens and tranquility...long, idle highways where there are a lot of bikes and bell-ringing with very, very few cars passing by... 30kph limit, policemen on-watch for over-speeding cars and "bikes"?! In the beginning of the movie "BokuChu", we see 5-troupe pranksters on their jitenshas getting ready for a vroom~. . . on their way to piss the officer (Chuzai-san).

Oretachi wa tsukamachau no ka na? Are we going to get caught?
Tsukamaeru wake nai saa...Oretachi wa kaze nandaze. There's no way we'll be caught. We are the wind.--- Mamachari

1979, Japan: a group of teenagers (high schoolers) who were basically pranksters just got all sparked up for pulling pranks off when a new police officer arrives in town. Things change a bit when they find out the girl they've been going after in a cafe is the officer's wife.

Mamachari, Takaaki, Inoue, Saijo, Chiba, Jaime, and Tsujimura= trouble for Chuzai-san.

_________________________________________________________________

This movie is lighthearted and funny. That's what I can at least say. There's more to the movie if you'd watch it. One thing: the momentum's maintained until the end so no worries about it being almost 2 hours. Youthful days and growing up... y'all could relate to these. haha

Beauty is the Beast

Ok. It's the humor that got me reading this to the end. Yeah yeah... I'm tired of shoujo stuff: girl's not pretty at first, perfect guy falls for her, tells corny stuff and says "she's mine", coincidences, blah blah...

I do not believe that love is an accident. I do not believe in "falling in love", love at first sight, love is blind... tah tah tah. Love is not accidental, it isn't just about the good qualities of a person as even the most rotten people in society can have someone love them though not "like" them at all. To love someone is to love them as a whole...as what they are. To love someone is to love one for eternity. No one possesses anyone as in love, people get to be free to be themselves and are absolutely free to be what they want to be without anyone ordering them around to do this and that. Love isn't possessive and obsessive at all. I don't understand why people find it "sexy" when a man yells "SHE'S MINE!!!". There's no way women would want to be caged.

Even if your loved ones looks like rotten eggs, love wouldn't wither if you really love them. It is for eternity. Well, enough of the love talk.

OK, so Beauty turns out to be the beast... hahaha. I loved the story as it didn't make me expect the things I expect of a heroine in a shoujo manga. I loved the characters especially the heroine, Eimi. She was quite the cute character... childish, innocent, honest, naive, and eccentric in a nice way. hahaha. Well, she's a country folk who isn't your average heroine unlike the damsel-in-distress heroines who wait for their prince and do nothing but get kidnapped and cry a lot. I love the fact that the artist gave a chance for the "other side" to pursue the heroine. At some point, I'd want the guy who is least likely to end up with the heroine to claim victory...but the story's ending is not in my hands of course. hahaha

I often judge the story from the cover. If the cover has too much detail and decorations with the characters drawn too big and sparkly, I can tell that it seems pretty desperate in trying to catch the eye of a potential reader. I somehow get the feeling that the plot may be too bad that it actually needs a bait too sparkly to get the attention of people. Well, it's part of business but I prefer a straight-forward, non-sparkly cover over too harassed covered mangas. Beauty is the Beast was rather lovely and organized in their covers.

The lighthearted plot's the BEST! I thought the male protagonist's past is too dark. Well, it is a bit dark and sad but it's a-ok. This manga wasn't dwelling too much on the past's details and that's what I like about it. The comedy's clean and lighthearted. Hahaha. I really love Eimi's character. She carries on the comedic relief too well.

Well, it was lighthearted and funny to the end that I don't even mind if they deleted the romance from the story and made it into a comedy, seinen, school-life, shoujo category.

Ibitsu: Lolita wants to be your Sister...

What will you do if a lolita, sitting near the dumps, carrying a stuffed toy she calls Keiichi, with stitches on her arms, asks you : DO YOU HAVE A SISTER? Personally, I might answer "no" but I'll be doomed. If I answer "yes". heh, I'd still be doomed.

Problem is--- the lolita girl comes to be your sister no matter what you answer. If you answer "I don't need one" then you're doomed differently this time. You'll be doomed sooner than those who answered "yes" and those who answered "no".

What I liked about the plot was that it is a fictional urban legend. I've heard about urban legends a lot and there are similarities with some patterns like that of a woman carrying a bear and going after your life if she senses you wearing jewelry, a kid or lady asking you some question and if you answer, you're doomed, a deceitful lady who makes you think you're safe but you're not... well, I just love urban legends because somehow, claiming them to be false doesn't make them impossible in a sense and if they are really false, they can still happen.

It's an interesting plot though the scares are pretty cliche. I don't really want to write them in detail as it may possibly shock you if you read the manga yourself. It's scarier than Friday the 13th though... as the guy suffers torture for almost 12 chapters (chapters one to two-the lolita's not showing signs of a killing spree YET). I can't even catch up with her fluctuating mood and thoughts about her victim. One moment, she says she wants to be an ideal sister to the victim, the next moment, she's angry and sad that she hurts everyone including herself.

At some points in the manga, I had my sympathy for the lolita as I thought that she may be some injured soul who seeks "revenge" or love but she always gets twisted (ibitsu=twisted). It always makes me wonder how the guy survives for some time (to be exact: how does he get beaten up for 10 more chapters?!)as in every primary chapter, he seems to be at a dead end. When I read chapter 6, looking at the number of chapters I haven't read made me think that this guy may not just be the only victim in this story. I thought the guy was to be dispatched sooner and the lolita looks for another but I was wrong...

It was like "Oh mama. This guy's gonna endure torture to live...LONGER" hahaha.
Tough life eh? One major spoiler: the story's a tragedy. haha

See how Itou Kazuki struggles to live...longer~! Ibitsu's worth the read. hehe. (14 Chapters including side stories)
